La drachme comme le tétradrachme au type d’Alexandre ont été imitées par les Celtes du Danube. Mais c’est la version au nom de Philippe III qui a été utilisée (LT. 9654, 9659 et KO 888-897).

Monete di tipo e nome de Filippo III
Filippo, figlio di Filippo II e fratellastro di Alessandro, non era del tutto sano di mente. Alla morte del conquistatore e di fronte alla mancanza di potere, per mantenere la finzione dell'unità dell'Impero, fu proclamato re, ma di fatto non aveva potere. Fu assassinato su istigazione di Olimpia, madre di Alessandro, nel 316 a.C.
