Plaquette contenant la série des 8 pièces luxembourgeoises 2002, qualité Brillant Universel, de la 1 cent à la 2 Euro “Grand-Duc Henri”. La série Brillant Universel luxembourgeoise 2002 fut éditée par la Monnaie des Pays-Bas. Deux séries furent émises en 2002 suite à une erreur de texte sur la plaquette. En effet le tableau descriptif des métaux indique “Métal cuivré” pour la pièce de 50 cent. Cette série que nous proposons à la vente n’a été émise qu’à 5.000 exemplaires.
Une deuxième série “corrigée” a été émise à 35.000 exemplaires à partir de juillet 2002. Dans le tableau descriptif des métaux “métal cuivré” a été remplacé par “or nordique” pour la pièce de 50 cent et “acier cuivré” pour les pièces de 1,2 et 5 cent..
Booklet containing the series of 8 Luxembourg coins 2002, Brilliant Uncirculated quality, from 1 cent to 2 Euro “Grand Duke Henri”. The Luxembourg Brilliant Uncirculated series 2002 was issued by the Netherlands Mint. Two series were issued in 2002 following a text error on the booklet. Indeed, the descriptive table of metals indicates “Copper metal” for the 50 cent coin. This series that we are offering for sale was issued in only 5,000 examples. A second “corrected” series was issued in 35,000 examples from July 2002. In the descriptive table of metals “copper metal” was replaced by “Nordic gold” for the 50 cent coin and “copper steel” for the 1, 2 and 5 cent coins.
