(1019-1051)

È sotto Brunon che si menzionano le prime monete di Toul. Nel 1032, con il pretesto che erano di scarsa qualità, il conte di Champagne, Eudes, entrò in guerra contro Brunon. Brunon divenne papa con il nome di Leone IX.
