Le “Kokle” est un instrument traditionnel de Lettonie à cordes pincées, proche de la cithare. On trouve dans les pays voisins de la mer Baltique des instruments similaires : le kantele finnois, le kannel estonien, le gousli russe, le kankles lituanien.
The “Kokle” is a traditional Latvian plucked string instrument, similar to the zither. Similar instruments are found in the countries surrounding the Baltic Sea: the Finnish kantele, the Estonian kannel, the Russian gusli, and the Lithuanian kankles.
