Commento

The young man is there, standing naked, with only a hat and boots, holding Goliath's sword, the plumes of Goliath's helmet rising along one of his legs. The mannered pose, the precious and sought-after attitude, the anatomical exaggerations, the gaze plunged into the shadow of the helmet, but even more so the excessive elegance of this figure adds a rich psychology to the biblical episode. This statue is kept at the National Museum of Bargello in Florence. Medal sculpted by Jaki Katz. Theoretically, the crab mark is supposed to indicate a fineness of 800 thousandths
