Commento
Refrappe certaine probablement antérieure à celle avec le poinçon Corne BR. Ce type de refrappe a été fait pour collectionneurs et pour pallier à l’impossibilité de trouver certains jetons, rarissimes voire inconnus en frappe originale. En vingt ans de commerce de jetons nous n’avons jamais pu offrir ce jeton en original.

Cronistoria
LAFAYETTE (MARIE-JOSEPH-PAUL-ROCH-YVES-GILBERT MOTIER, MARQUIS DE)
(1757-1834)
La Fayette nacque nel 1757 nel castello di Saint-Roch de Chavagnac (Alta Loira). Rimasto orfano all'età di tredici anni, si ritrova a capo di una grande fortuna. Fu sottotenente nel reggimento di Noailles, prima di sposare la seconda figlia del duca di Agen nel 1774. Ha combattuto a fianco degli insorti americani e si è distinto al fianco di Washington. Nel 1787 partecipò all'Assemblea dei Notabili e nel 1789 fu eletto deputato della nobiltà agli Stati Generali dal Siniscalco di Riom. Fu all'origine della Dichiarazione dei diritti dell'uomo. Dopo la presa della Bastiglia, fu eletto comandante della milizia borghese, organizzò la guardia nazionale e fece adottare la corcarda tricolore. Dopo l'esecuzione di Luigi XVI, lasciò la Francia e fu catturato dagli austriaci e imprigionato a Olmütz. Rilasciato nel 1797, tornò in Francia. Nel 1818 divenne deputato della Sarthe. Al tempo della Rivoluzione di Luglio, fu eletto Comandante in Capo della Guardia Nazionale e facilitò l'ascesa al trono del Duca d'Orleans. Morì a Parigi nel 1834.
