Commento

Cette monnaie commémore la création du Royaume d’Italie. Le Royaume de Sardaigne a bénéficie du mouvement de Risorgimento. Après l’expédition des Mille qui permet le rattachement du sud de la péninsule à l’exception d’une partie des états pontificaux, le Royaume d’Italie est proclamé le 17 mars 1861. La Vénitie sera annexée en 1865 et Rome en 1870.
This coin commemorates the creation of the Kingdom of Italy. The Kingdom of Sardinia benefited from the Risorgimento movement. After the Expedition of the Thousand, which allowed the annexation of the south of the peninsula with the exception of part of the Papal States, the Kingdom of Italy was proclaimed on March 17, 1861. Veneto was annexed in 1865 and Rome in 1870.
