Jean Scaron, seigneur de Maudiné, fut prévôt de 1644 à 1646, année de sa mort ; il était de la famille de Paul Scarron, écrivain et premier mari de la future Madame de Maintenon.
La légende de revers de ce jeton rend compte du rôle de Régente déférée à Anne d'Autriche, la Reine-Mère, par le lit de justice du 18 mai 1643. Sur ce jeton le nom de famille est orthographié avec une seule R.
