Très bel exemplaire frappé sur un flan un peu court, mais avec les types de droit et de revers complets. Aspect très légèrement poreux, avec une patine grise de collection ancienne

Commento

Ces deniers sont tantôt attribués aux Vindelici tantôt aux Helvètes ; ils circulèrent vraisemblablement dans cette aire géographique entre Allemagne et Suisse, voir même dans l'Est de la France.
Dans la série 992 du Nouvel Atlas, cette variété avec le cheval encadré par deux croissants correspond au type de Balsthal ou Büschelquinar des Helvetii.
These coins are sometimes attributed to the Vindelici and sometimes to the Helvetii; they probably circulated in this geographical area between Germany and Switzerland, and even in the East of France. In series 992 of the New Atlas, this variety with the horse framed by two crescents corresponds to the Balsthal or Büschelquinar type of the Helvetii
