Descrittivo diritto : Tête à droite, dont on ne distingue qu’à peine le profil ; la chevelure en forme de feuille.

Descrittivo rovescio : Croix bouletée, formée de quatre cantons ; lunule surmontée de globules au 1er canton, une hache pleine au manche lisse bouletée deux fois au sommet au 3e canton.

Commento

Excessivement rare, cette monnaie est la plus belle des deux connues pour ce type très original. Le n° 188* était dans une collection particulière en 1976. Les auteurs du Moneta 28 semblent avoir tout confondu, en répertoriant quatre exemplaires ; proposant de réattribuer l'exemplaire Savès n° 185 et le n° 95 du musée de Zurich ; la première est une flamboyante d'un autre type et la seconde encore une monnaie de Goutrens !.
Extremely rare, this coin is the most beautiful of the two known for this very original type. No. 188* was in a private collection in 1976. The authors of Moneta 28 seem to have mixed everything up, listing four examples; proposing to reattribute the Savès example No. 185 and No. 95 from the Zurich museum; the first is a flamboyant of another type and the second is still a Goutrens coin!
