L'élément décoratif sous le cheval au revers est un globule inscrit dans un cercle perlé. Le type de tête au droit est assez poupin.

I Leuques sono menzionati solo una volta nelle guerre galliche. I loro vicini erano i Médiomatriques, i Lingons ei Séquanes. I Leuques così come i Séquanes ei Lingones fornirono grano a Cesare quando l'esercito romano si fermò a Vesontio (Besançon) per fare rifornimento prima di affrontare i Germani di Ariovistus (58 a.C.).
