Descrittivo diritto : Tête humaine à gauche, importante chevelure en deux masses opposées ; une annelet pointé derrière la nuque et un globule sous le cou ; grènetis.

Titolatura rovescio : ANÉPIGRAPHE.

Descrittivo rovescio : Cheval à gauche ; une fleur à quatre pétales entre les jambes.

Commento

L’exemplaire DT. 370 était inédit lors de la parution du Nouvel Atlas ; il provient d’Hallencourt (Somme) et est conservé en collection privée. Ce bronze constitue la variété 16 de la classe I “à la tête nue et imberbe” de la vaste série typologique 46 (bimétallique) “type profil humain / cheval”.
Cet exemplaire avait été proposé aux Carnutes lors de son passage en vente dans MONNAIES XV, alors que ce type était inédit.
The DT. 370 example was unpublished at the time of the publication of the New Atlas; it comes from Hallencourt (Somme) and is kept in a private collection. This bronze constitutes variety 16 of class I “with bare and beardless head” of the vast typological series 46 (bimetallic) “human profile type / horse”. This example had been offered to the Carnutes during its sale in MONNAIES XV, when this type was unpublished
