I Baïocasses o Bodiocasses non sono menzionati nelle guerre galliche di Cesare. È Plinio il Vecchio che ne parla per primo. I Baiocasses occupavano parte dell'attuale Normandia, il Bessin. I loro vicini erano gli Unelles, i Viducasses e i Véliocasses. Il loro oppidum principale era Augustodurum (Bayeux). Plinio (HN. IV, 107). Tolomeo (G. II, 8).
