Commento
Le droit est caractéristique de la classe III, avec l'œil rond de face et le nez en forme d'epsilon bouleté au centre. Le revers, traditionnellement associé aux droits des classes I et III, se caractérise par un aurige résumé à une tête regardant en l'air surmontant un bras tendu.

I Coriosolites erano un popolo armoricano, stanziato nell'attuale dipartimento della Côtes-d'Armor. Avevano per vicini gli Osismes, i Vénètes, i Namnètes ei Redon. Erano un popolo marinaro il cui porto principale sembra essere stato Alet. Il loro nome è conservato ancora oggi in quello di Corseul. Hanno svolto un ruolo importante nel commercio con la Gran Bretagna insulare, hanno preso parte alla campagna del 57 aC e sono stati soggiogati da Crasso. L'anno successivo parteciparono nuovamente alla rivolta degli Armoricani sotto la guida dei Veneti con gli Unelles ei Lexoviens, tutti schiacciati da Cesare. Nel 52 aC i Coriosoliti parteciparono al contingente di ventimila uomini che gli Armoricani inviarono per liberare Vercingetorige, assediata ad Alesia. Cesare (BG. II, 34; III, 7, 11; VII, 75).
