Buste intéressant, du tout début du règne. Ce jeton a, par exemple, pu appartenir à Malesherbes. Ces jetons étaient distribués aux membres de l'Académie lors de leurs réunions du lundi, jeudi et samedi. On appelait " jetonniers " les académiciens remarqués pour leur assiduité aux réunions.
An interesting bust from the very beginning of the reign. This token, for example, could have belonged to Malesherbes. These tokens were distributed to members of the Academy during their meetings on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
