C. Charlet, CN 1991, p. 22-26). Unique exemplaire répertorié !.
This lodge was created at the initiative of the brothers of the Grand Orient. Among the three commissioners who installed it was the director of the Paris Mint, Roëttiers de Montaleau. This lodge allowed the reunion of several members of the lodges of the Orient of Paris who had ceased or suspended their work. The work of the lodge began on February 2, 1793 and Roëttiers was elected venerable. During the autumn of 1793, Roëttiers de Montaleau, who signed only Montaleau, was arrested before reappearing in the lodge towards the end of December 1793. This token, although dated 1789 (5789), was certainly struck under the Consulate since the reverse is used as a monetary test for the module of the 5 decimes (Cf. C. Charlet, CN 1991, p. 22-26). Unique example listed!
