Portrait Marianne face gauche, dont le bonnet Phrygien est « greffé » à la coiffe des Ponts-de-Cé qui a conservé le noeud, les tuyaux et les « guiches » (postiches en cheveux formant des anglaises portés avec la coiffe des Ponts-de-Cé). Elle porte une boucle d’oreille formée du Delta Maçonnique. Un rameau d’olivier et un faisceau de licteur de chaque coté du visage complètent la symbolique Républicaine et Maçonnique. Elle porte autour du cou une écharpe ou est gravé CERCLE DU PROGRES. (cf. François Comte, conservateur en Chef du Patrimoine - Angers et cf. JCT). “Cette médaille est une réduction d’un grand médaillon offert au cercle du Progrès d’Angers en 1892, cercle républicain situé au café du Progrès, 18 rue saint-martin à Angers qui devient ensuite le Welcome. Portrait of Marianne facing left, whose Phrygian cap is \\\"grafted\\\" to the Ponts-de-Cé headdress which has retained the knot, the pipes and the \\\"guiches\\\" (hairpieces forming ringlets worn with the Ponts-de-Cé headdress). She wears an earring formed from the Masonic Delta. An olive branch and a lictor's fasces on each side of the face complete the Republican and Masonic symbolism. She wears a scarf around her neck on which is engraved CERCLE DU PROGRES. (cf. François Comte, Chief Curator of Heritage - Angers and cf. JCT). “This medal is a reduction of a large medallion offered to the Cercle du Progrès d’Angers in 1892, a republican circle located at the Café du Progrès, 18 rue Saint-Martin in Angers, which later became the Welcome.
