Coffret de la Suomen Rahapaja (Hôtel des Monnaies finlandais) contenant la 2 Euro finlandaise commémorant le bicentenaire de la Banque de Finlande en qualité Belle Épreuve.

La Banque de Finlande fut fondée en 1811 à Turku (ancienne capitale du royaume de Finlande) sur décret du tsar Alexandre Ier. Cet événement fut une étape majeure dans le long chemin d’accession de la Finlande à son indépendance.
Le cygne, emblème national de la Finlande et des finlandais, a ainsi été choisi pour commémorer cet événement clé de la nation finlandaise

Proof coin presented in its case with certificate. The Bank of Finland was founded in 1811 in Turku (former capital of the Kingdom of Finland) by decree of Tsar Alexander I. This event was a major milestone in Finland's long road to independence. The swan, the national emblem of Finland and the Finns, was thus chosen to commemorate this key event for the Finnish nation.
