L’emblématique “Old Mint” est historiquement le second édifice abritant la frappe de monnaie à San Francisco. Construit entre 1869 et 1874, il est un des rares bâtiments à avoir survécu au tremblement de terre de 1906 et à l’incendie qui a suivi. Les activités de frappe ont été déménagé dans un nouveau et actuel bâtiment en 1937.
The iconic Old Mint is historically the second minting facility in San Francisco. Built between 1869 and 1874, it is one of the few buildings to have survived the 1906 earthquake and subsequent fire. Minting operations were moved to a new, current building in 1937.
