Frederick Douglass (1818-1895) est un activiste anti-esclavagiste, politicien et diplomate noir. Sa maison Cedar Hill à Anacostia dans le district fédéral est devenue un site historique national.
Launched in early 2010, 'America the Beautiful' is a program of 56 commemorative quarter dollar coins depicting national parks and other national sites of the United States of America. Frederick Douglass (1818-1895) was a Black anti-slavery activist, politician, and diplomat. His home, Cedar Hill, in Anacostia, in the Federal District, has become a National Historic Landmark.
