Exemplaire sur un flan très large, parfaitement centré des deux côtés. Très beau portrait avec une usure superficielle dans la chevelure et l’égide. Revers de style fin. Recouvert d’une fine patine avec des reflets mordorés

Tolomeo VI era il figlio maggiore di Tolomeo V e Cleopatra I Thea. La reggenza della madre durò fino al 176 aC Regnò insieme al fratello Tolomeo VIII dal 170 al 164 aC Sposò la sorella Cleopatra II dalla quale ebbe due figlie e Tolomeo VII. Morì per le ferite mentre combatteva contro Alessandro I Balas.
