Les timbres-monnaies du Crédit Lyonnais sont de loin les plus courants. Seize variétés ont été recensées en fonction du positionnement de certaines lettres entres elles, en fonction du texte inscrit sous “CREDIT LYONNAIS” ainsi que les inscriptions du revers visibles ou non en transparence sur l’avers. Il existe aussi différentes couleurs pour le fond : rouge, rose, vermillon, orange, jaune, bleu et blanc. Variété avec les grands “O”.
