Louis Ducatel (1902-1999) est un ingénieur, entrepreneur et homme politique français. Il s'installa à son compte en 1928 et créa en 1938 la CAPAG, une entreprise de canalisations. Il sera plus tard l'inventeur du « tuyau Ducatel », une canalisation « incassable ». Politicien, il sera élu au Conseil municipal de Paris de 1948 à 1965, puis vice-président de 1961 à 1962. Il se présenterai aux élections présidentielles de 1969, sans étiquette.

He later invented the \\\"Ducatel pipe,\\\" an \\\"unbreakable\\\" pipe. As a politician, he was elected to the Paris City Council from 1948 to 1965, then served as vice-president from 1961 to 1962. He ran for president in 1969 as an independent candidate.
