Ce monnayage fait partie de la dernière partie du règne de Héthum Ier, à l’époque ou il n’est plus sous la domination du sultan de Konieh, c’est-à-dire à partir de 1244. De nombreuses variétés de revers existe pour les tanks de Héthum Ier.

Cronistoria
CILICIE - ROYAUME D'ARMÉNIE - HÉTHOUM Ier
1226-1270
Alla morte di Levon II nel 1219, lasciò come erede solo la figlia Zabel, allora di tre anni. Si apre quindi un periodo di conflitto nella successione al potere. Nel 1226, Zabel (Isabelle) sposa Héthoum Ier, e apre così un lungo regno che durerà fino al 1270. Sebbene nel 1252 Zabel muoia, le monete d'argento (tram e mezzi tram) mostreranno i due sovrani insieme fino alla morte di Hethoum IO. Il regno di Hethum I si distingue per tre parti cronologiche principali. Il primo dove Hethum I e Zabel governano insieme, il periodo in cui l'Armenia è sotto il dominio del Sultano di Konieh, e infine, dove Hethum I governa da solo fino alla sua morte (1244-1270).
