Ce denier est frappé sur un flan irrégulier. Exemplaire recouvert d’une légère patine grise. Petit éclatement de flan à 9 heures se prolongeant sous la forme d’une infime craquelure. La croix du revers apparaît légèrement en négatif au droit

(1102-1151)

Dominique Legros pensa che la viscontea di Châteaudun fosse sotto l'influenza dei conti di Blois e Chartres. Sotto Thibaut IV il Grande, tre visconti si succedettero a Châteaudun: Hugues III (1079-1110), Geoffroy III (1110-1136) e Hugues IV (1136-1166). La moneta divenne visconte nel 1218 sotto Geoffroy V (1215-1235).
