Commento

Ce type de bronze semble très rare. Il s’agit vraisemblablement d’un monnayage tardif, dérivant des tétradrachmes d’argent imitant le type au cavalier de Philippe II.
Toutes les monnaies de ce type proposées dans CELTIC II proviennent d’un même collectionneur, et probablement d’une petite trouvaille d’Europe de l’Est.
This type of bronze appears to be very rare. It is likely a late coinage, derived from the silver tetradrachms imitating the type with the horseman of Philip II. All the coins of this type offered in CELTIC II come from the same collector, and probably from a small find in Eastern Europe.
