Le monogramme de notre exemplaire est difficile à interpréter, mais grâce à l’exemplaire du musée de Copenhague, Cop. 736, nous pouvons le restituer par le monogramme NL. plutôt que AVT contemporain. Le petit personnage est parfois décrit dans les ouvrages les plus anciens comme étant Taras, le héros éponyme de Tarente. Il faut plutôt y voir un jeune homme citharède (qui tient une cithare) et que couronne une petite Niké.
The monogram of our example is difficult to interpret, but thanks to the example in the Copenhagen Museum, Cop. 736, we can render it by the monogram NL. rather than the contemporary AVT.
