Beau revers. Le petit trou au droit semble indiquer que la monnaie est fourrée. Elle a été nettoyée récemment, l’aspect est brillant

Commento
La monnaie semble fourrée. Le droit semble avoir une accumulation de traces incuses. Ce revers, le plus courant, a été complété par les auteurs du Moneta 28, qui jugent fautive ou plutôt incomplète la lecture de Savès, à cause de revers souvent incomplets. Ils signalent la présence de trois globules aux 1er et 4e canton et deux globules au 2e canton, en plus des ornements signalés (?).

I Cadurques, dopo la creazione della provincia di Narbonnaise, erano i vicini più stretti dei Volques e dei Tolosates. Il loro territorio si estendeva sull'attuale dipartimento del Lot e su quello del Tarn-et-Garonne, nei limiti dell'antica provincia del Quercy con capoluogo Cahors.. Erano circondati dagli Arvernes e dai Gabales, dai Rutenes e dai Nitiobroges. Fecero un notevole ingresso durante le guerre galliche e furono citati più volte da Cesare. Si unirono alla coalizione formata da Vercingetorige e, su sua richiesta, attaccarono (con i Rutenes) i Volchi arecomi che rimasero fedeli ai romani.. Il capo Cadurque, Luctérios, riesce a unire i Gabales ei Nitiobrogi per assediare Narbonne. Cesare, avvertito, sgombra il capoluogo della Provincia. I Cadurques hanno preso parte al contingente di 35. 000 uomini delle Arvernes per salvare Alesia, assediata. Dopo la sconfitta e la resa di Vercingetorige, Luctérios prese parte, sempre l'anno successivo nel 51 a.C.. -VS. , a difesa dell'oppidum di Uxellodunum (Puy d'Issolu nel Lot). Fonti: Cesare (BG.
