Commento
Ces exemplaires sont en frappe médaille (axe à douze heures) alors que jusqu’à présent les frappes sont avec l’axe à six heures. Le duc de Bourbon, soucieux de voir naître un héritier au trône pour que la couronne ne passe pas au duc d’Orléans, son ennemi personnel, renvoya brutalement la jeune fille de Philippe V d’Espagne qui avait été fiancée au roi en 1721. Il maria ensuite Louis XV à Marie Leszczynska, de sept ans son aînée et fille de Stanislas Ier Leszczynski, roi détrôné de Pologne en septembre 1725. Leur fils, le dauphin Louis, naquit en 1729 après la naissance de trois filles. Il meurt en 1765 après avoir eu cinq fils dont les trois derniers régneront : Louis XVI, Louis XVIII et Charles X.

La Bretagna era, di tutte le province francesi, quella in cui la monarchia rispettava meglio i privilegi e le particolarità locali.. La sua unione risale solo al 1532 ei suoi stati furono i più turbolenti del regno.. Il loro accordo era necessario per qualsiasi raccolta di fondi e per l'esecuzione di tutti gli editti anche sovrani. Si tenevano ogni due anni. I tre ordini vi erano rappresentati con vescovi, abati, rappresentanti delle città e soprattutto molti nobili (da sei a settecento) che in genere imponevano agli altri la loro volontà, sebbene il voto avvenisse per ordine.. I nobili e gli scudieri formavano quello che veniva chiamato il "bastione", tiranneggiando il resto dell'assemblea ed erano particolarmente attratti da feste e pranzi.. La principale risorsa del bilancio provinciale era fornita dai "dazi", imposta molto produttiva sulle bevande ma anche dal fouage o taglia sul "fuoco". Nonostante queste entrate, l'amministrazione degli Stati di Bretagna era comunque costosa e alla vigilia della Rivoluzione gli Stati erano in debito di cinquanta milioni di sterline. Gli Stati hanno prodotto circa 150 gettoni diversi, destinati ad essere offerti ai membri della sua amministrazione come gratuità: 100 per ogni presidente, 50 per ogni sindaco, ecc.. .
