Commento

Ce potin était considéré comme unique en 1975 lorsque S. Scheers publiait la collection Danicourt à Péronne. Si quelques exemplaires sont en collections privées, ce potin reste très rare. Sur certains exemplaires, mieux venus que la moyenne, il semblerait qu'il y ait un cavalier sur le cheval.
Ce n’est que le quatrième exemplaire que nous proposons, et probablement le plus beau, complet et homogène.
This potin was considered unique in 1975 when S. Scheers published the Danicourt collection in Péronne. While a few examples are in private collections, this potin remains very rare. On some examples, better-preserved than average, it would appear that there is a rider on the horse. This is only the fourth example we are offering, and probably the most beautiful, complete, and consistent.
