Descrittivo diritto : Tête laurée à gauche ; les cheveux disposés en traits obliques parallèles, trois mèches, suur la joue, le cou et la nuque.

Descrittivo rovescio : Cavalier à droite brandissant une arme (?) ; au-dessous un sanglier à gauche ; annelet centré devant et derrière le cheval.

Commento

Pour cette série dite “de Cheverny”, les exemplaires avec la tête à gauche sont exceptionnels ! Ce type est représenté par un seul exemplaire à la BN ; ce même exemplaire est cité par Hucher en 1874, comme venant du Trésor de Vernon.
La série 1094 du Nouvel Atlas, est composée de deux exemplaires. Le DT. 3452 a une tête à droite et le DT. 3453 a une tête à gauche !.
For this so-called “Cheverny” series, the examples with the head on the left are exceptional! This type is represented by a single example in the BN; this same example is cited by Hucher in 1874, as coming from the Vernon Treasury. Series 1094 of the New Atlas is made up of two examples. The DT. 3452 has a right head and the DT. 3453 has a head on the left!
