Flan court et épais, un peu irrégulier. Les types de droit et de revers sont assez bien centrés, complets et plutôt finement détaillés. Agréable patine brun vert foncé

Descrittivo diritto : Tête de loup à gauche, comme tirant la langue.

Rovescio

Descrittivo rovescio : Cheval à gauche ; entre les jambes, trois globules posés en triangle ; gros grènetis.

Commento

Bien que très proche de la série à la tête de loup et au pégase, ce bronze est d’un type différent avec un cheval non ailé au revers. La tête du loup à gauche est finement détaillé sur cet exemplaire, avec les oreilles (?) indiquées ; le DT. 3499 et le Nash 582 semblent être issus des mêmes coins de droit et de revers que notre bronze !.
Although very similar to the wolf head and Pegasus series, this bronze is of a different type with a non-winged horse on the reverse. The wolf's head on the left is finely detailed on this example, with the ears (?) indicated; DT. 3499 and Nash 582 appear to be from the same obverse and reverse dies as our bronze!
