Baldovino (7/09/1930-31/07/1993) è il figlio maggiore di Leopoldo III e Astrid di Svezia. Fu deportato nel 1944 con suo padre e consegnato dagli americani. Nominato Principe Reale del Belgio il 3 agosto 1950, divenne Re dei Belgi il 17 luglio 1951, dopo l'abdicazione del padre. Sposato nel 1960 con Fabiola, senza figli, gli succede il fratello Alberto nel 1993.
