Circulating commemorative coin from the “Austrian Abbeys and Monasteries” series. The obverse depicts the buildings of Klosterneuburg Abbey (Lower Austria): the Romanesque and Gothic church, the Baroque section, and the dome. Vineyards are also depicted, as the abbey has the oldest and most important wine-growing estate in Austria. The reverse depicts the cloister and the abbey’s founder (1114), Saint Leopold III. Winning coin in the “Best Crown” category of the Coin of the Year (COTY) 2010, silver coins or similar with a diameter of at least 34 mm.
