Ce denier est frappé sur flan large et irrégulier. Exemplaire décentré au revers et recouvert d’une patine grise de médaillier

Commento

Nous sommes probablement d’un exemplaire présentant des pseudo-légendes comme les exemplaires aux M ou E onciaux croisetés attribués à la région de Melle ou à cette ville. Un exemplaire du même atelier est référencé dans le Belfort sous le n° 62 qui présente au revers des annelets entre les lettres AEAE répétitives si bien qu’il a voulu lire le nom d’un atelier non localisé qu’il nomme AISIOMAO ! L’exemplaire Belfort, provient de la collection Robert et a été trouvé au XIXe siècle près de Blois.
We are probably from a example with pseudo-legends like the examples with crossed uncial M or E attributed to the region of Melle or to this city. A example from the same workshop is referenced in Belfort under the n° 62 which has on the reverse ringlets between the repetitive letters AEAE so much so that he wanted to read the name of an unlocated workshop that he calls AISIOMAO! The Belfort example comes from the Robert collection and was found in the 19th century near Blois
