Commento

Lucien Gibert est un sculpteur et médailleur né en 1904 à Saint Etienne. Il est élève de Jean Boucher et de Despiau à l’Ecole nationale supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Paris. Il obtint la médaille d’honneur au Salon des artistes français, le Grand Prix des Peintres témoins de leur temps. Il est officier de la Légion d’honneur et commandeur de l’Ordre national du Mérite.
Lucien Gibert was a sculptor and medalist born in 1904 in Saint-Étienne. He studied under Jean Boucher and Despiau at the École nationale supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris. He received the Medal of Honor at the Salon des Artistes Français and the Grand Prix des Peintres témoins de leur temps. He is an officer of the Legion of Honor and a commander of the National Order of Merit.
