Titolatura diritto : ANÉPIGRAPHE.

Descrittivo diritto : Tête barbare, très stylisée à droite, les cheveux hirsutes ; trois petits segments horizontaux devant la bouche.

Rovescio

Descrittivo rovescio : Annelet entouré de deux T et de deux I, posés aux quatre coins, avec cinq globules dans le champ ; l’ensemble dans un carré perlé ; pseudo légende autour.

Commento

Cet exemplaire est d’un très beau style, tant au droit qu’au revers. L'extrémité des mèches de la chevelure hirsute sont finement bouletées.
La composition du carré perlé au revers est identique à celle du n° 225 d’Oxford, mais les trois globules à 6 heures au revers sont alignés sur notre exemplaire alors qu’ils sont posés en triangle sur le n° 225 d’Oxford.
This example is of a very beautiful style, both on the obverse and reverse. The ends of the strands of shaggy hair are finely balled. The composition of the pearl square on the reverse is identical to that of Oxford No. 225, but the three globules at 6 o'clock on the reverse are aligned on our example whereas they are placed in a triangle on Oxford No. 225
