Commento

Avec cet annelet pointé au droit et ce type de légende au revers, ce sceat correspond presque exactement au n° 186 d’Oxford. Au droit, l’un des V est remplacé par un segment accosté d’un globule.
Trois des quatre exemplaires d’Oxford proviennent du trésor de Aston Rowant.
With this pointed annulet on the obverse and this type of legend on the reverse, this sceat corresponds almost exactly to Oxford No. 186. On the obverse, one of the Vs is replaced by a segment flanked by a globule. Three of the four Oxford examples come from the Aston Rowant hoard
