Descrittivo rovescio : Cheval étiré galopant à droite, conduit par les restes d’un aurige déstructuré au-dessus ; entre les jambes du cheval, un globule.

Commento

Ce statère appartient à la deuxième phase du monnayage ambien ; les flans ont tendance à être plus étroit et à s’épaissir, mais les monnaies sont toujours bifaces, avec une tête stylisée au droit.
Bien que fourré, ce statère a toutes les caractéristiques typologiques des monnaies d’or, mais pour un poids faible de 3,08 grammes.
