Pendant la Première Guerre Mondiale, un camp principal de prisonniers est situé dans la ville de Traunstein située en Bavière, à l'Ouest de Salzburg, non loin de la frontière Austro-hongroise. Le caporal Adolf Hitler est affecté à la garde de ce camp du 3 décembre 1918 au 25 janvier 1919.
During the First World War, a main prisoner of war camp was located in the Bavarian town of Traunstein, west of Salzburg, not far from the Austro-Hungarian border. Corporal Adolf Hitler was assigned to guard this camp from December 3, 1918, to January 25, 1919.
