Commento

Ce type fut frappé entre 1789 et 1800 dans le système de Leipzig comme il est indiqué au revers. La pièce de 24 mariengroschen y correspond au deux tiers de thaler. Dans la pièce de 10 thalers il y a 11,97 g d'or pur. Le thaler d'argent pèse 28,06 d'argent à 833 millièmes soit 23,37 g. Le ratio or/argent est très favorable à l'or avec 1:19,5. Ce ratio sera conservé dans le nouveau royaume de Westphalie, taillé sur mesure pour Jérôme Napoléon en 1807.
This type was minted between 1789 and 1800 in the Leipzig system as indicated on the reverse. The 24 mariengroschen coin corresponds to two-thirds of a thaler. In the 10 thaler coin there is 11.97 g of pure gold. The silver thaler weighs 28.06 of silver at 833 thousandths or 23.37 g. The gold/silver ratio is very favorable to gold at 1:19.5.
