Rarissime billet de 500 Nouveaux Francs surchargé sur un 50000 Francs Molière. Billet non filigrané, avec numérotation, date et signatures.
Nous avons vendu une épreuve de ce type, non numérotée et non datée (EB01), mais il s'agit du seul billet numéroté dont nous avons connaissance.
Comme le dit également Claude Fayette dans son ouvrage Les Billets de la Banque de France et du Trésor, édition 2007 : "L'exemplaire ci-dessus (illustré p.348) daté du 6 février 1958 est le seul exemplaire numéroté que nous connaissons dans l'immédiat".
Extremely rare 500 New Francs note overprinted on a 50,000 Francs Molière. Unwatermarked note, with numbering, date and signatures. We have sold a proof of this type, unnumbered and undated (EB01), but it is the only numbered note of which we are aware. As Claude Fayette also says in his work Les Billets de la Banque de France et du Trésor, 2007 edition: \\\"The example above (illustrated p.348) dated February 6, 1958 is the only numbered example of which we are immediately aware.\\\"
