Commento
We are in the presence of the extremely rare type with the pair of signatures Administrator / Director instead of the classic Administrator / Administrator-Director. This note on unwatermarked paper bears a drawing in red Indian ink of the silhouette of the watermark, which shows that it had already been chosen but that the production had not yet begun. We can also compare this example with No. 1487 and No. 1480 of the Thomas sale which bear the same drawing of the watermark in red Indian ink and the same numbering in A.1 / 000. but none of the other mentions which make our example unique. Indeed, our note bears the handwritten mention in Indian ink \\\"Bon à tirage\\\", a two-line stamp \\\"BANQUE DE L'INDOCHINE / Un Administrateur - Le Directeur\\\" and the two autograph signatures in Indian ink \\\"B. Hely d'Oissel\\\", \\\"Stanislas Simon\\\". It is extraordinarily moving to have in one's hands the original proof of a century-old banknote.
