Paire d'épreuves unifaces recto et verso sans filigrane collées aux angles, et deux fois en marges, sur carton fort.
Identiques au billet émis mais sans signatures. La date indiquée est PARIS, le 29 mars 1939 ! Alors que les premiers billets sont de 1940. C'est la première fois que nous voyons cette épreuve datée 1939. Dans son ouvrage "Billets en Guerre" J.C.Camus (p.27) illustre un autre essai de la même date mais de visuel très différent.

Pair of single-sided proofs, recto and verso, without watermark, glued to the corners and twice in the margins, on strong cardboard. Identical to the issued note but without signatures. The date indicated is PARIS, March 29, 1939! While the first notes are from 1940. This is the first time we see this proof dated 1939.
