ISOLA RIUNIONE

Scoperta nel 1513 dai portoghesi Mascarenhas, l'isola divenne francese nel 1638. Chiamata Isola Bourbon, la sua concessione fu data alla Compagnia delle Indie Orientali nel 1664 poi, nel 1793, divenne Isola della Riunione. Dal 1946 è uno dei quattro dipartimenti d'oltremare..
