Épreuve recto-verso, non filigranée (juste deux traits perpendiculaires). Portrait de Montaigne par Lefeuvre. Prévu pour être un 50F en 1964, abandonné en 1967, la vignette est réutilisée pour effectuer des essais d'impression en continu dans les années 1985. Cet exemplaire est numéroté et porte la mention EXPERIMENTATION en haut. Grandes marges (excepté en bordure inférieure).
Double-sided proof, unwatermarked (just two perpendicular lines). Portrait of Montaigne by Lefeuvre. Intended to be a 50F in 1964, abandoned in 1967, the vignette was reused to carry out continuous printing tests in the 1985s. This example is numbered and bears the note EXPERIMENTATION at the top. Large margins (except at the bottom border)
