Charles-Albert (2/10/1798- 28/08/1849) è il figlio di Charles-Emmanuel de Savoie. Successe allo zio nel 1831. Dopo la sconfitta di Novarre, abdicò il 24 marzo 1849, in favore del figlio Vittorio Emanuele II. Morì a Porto il 28 agosto dello stesso anno..
