AFRIQUE ÉQUATORIALE FRANÇAISE
L'Africa equatoriale francese è stata creata nel 1910. L'AEF comprende i territori del Gabon, del Medio Congo, dell'Oubangui-Chari e del Ciad. Sotto la guida del governatore generale Félix Éboué (1884-1944) e grazie a René Pléven, l'Africa equatoriale francese si unì a De Gaulle il 26 agosto 1940, presto raggiunta dai partigiani gollisti del Camerun e del Congo francese.
