Ce type est très rare et a été successivement attribué à Lyon, un atelier bithynien et un atelier thrace. Les auteurs du Roman Provincial Coinage ont recensé 39 exemplaires. Ce type est souvent mal classé, parfois attribué à Rome. Ce type serait frappé après la divinisation de Vespasien en 80 et après les émissions de restitution. Ruban de type 3. Titus reçoit son huitième consulat le 1er janvier 80, alors que Domitien prend son septième.

Tito, nato il 30 dicembre 39, è il figlio maggiore di Vespasiano. Segue il padre in Giudea dove è legato della XV legione Apollinare. Dopo la proclamazione di Alessandria, Vespasiano lascia a lui il compito di completare la pacificazione della Giudea durante la quale si innamora di Bérénice (cfr. Commedia di Racine). Dopo la presa di Gerusalemme nell'estate del 70, celebrò il Trionfo con il padre nel gennaio del 71. Associato al potere dal padre, gli succedette il 24 giugno del 79, avendo rotto con la bella principessa ebrea nel 75. Il suo regno n fu solo una serie di catastrofi, l'eruzione del Vesuvio nel 79 che distrusse Pompei ed Ercolano, poi l'incendio di Roma nell'80. Morì nell'81, forse assassinato su istigazione del fratello Domiziano (Svetonio). È descritto come "la gioia dell'umanità".
