SVIZZERA - REPUBBLICA DE GINEVRA
Gegenna divenne Ginevra il 4 dicembre 1535. Il 24 novembre 1535 il Consiglio dei Duecento decise di far coniare monete a nome della Repubblica di Ginevra; i primi sols de billon furono coniati nel 1536. La Repubblica di Ginevra fu proclamata il 21 maggio 1536 e la religione riformata divenne religione di stato. L'istruzione diventa obbligatoria e gratuita.
